This informational website is operated by Briar Hamsfest Consulting s.r.o., identified on our company page. These terms describe permitted use of the website. Browsing does not create a paid subscription, dataset licence, or service contract. Quotes and engagements are agreed separately in writing.
2. Permitted use
You may browse, link to public pages, and retain reasonable extracts for internal evaluation with attribution and existing notices preserved. This permission does not grant access to underlying models or datasets, or a right to resell, republish substantial portions, or use our branding to imply endorsement. Statutory exceptions remain available.
Do not compromise security, bypass access controls, overload the site, distribute malicious code, impersonate others, or collect information unlawfully. Do not attempt to identify real individuals from synthetic records or use our material to misrepresent modeled outputs as direct observations of identifiable people.
3. Understanding synthetic outputs
Synthetic populations and behavioral attributes are modeled representations. A synthetic person is not evidence that a particular real person has an attribute, preference, address, or relationship. Counts, coverage, validation, and uncertainty depend on the release, reference period, geography, sources, and methodology.
Illustrations are explanatory; generated artwork is not a coverage map or statistical result. Research claims should be assessed against their methodology and validation. Website summaries are not professional advice and should not be the sole basis for consequential decisions about individuals, health, credit, employment, or legal rights.
4. Intellectual property and licences
Unless a third-party notice states otherwise, rights in SyntheStat branding, original website material, software, and models are reserved by their respective rightsholders. No ownership of underlying datasets or models transfers through website access. Third-party components retain their licences; see credits and licences. A separate agreement governs any commissioned deliverable or licensed data.
5. Information and availability
We aim to keep information accurate but cannot promise that every page is complete, current, or free from error, or that the website will always be available. Please confirm specifications and release details before relying on them. External links are provided for reference; their operators control their content and practices.
6. Responsibility
Each party remains responsible for its conduct under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted website availability or fitness of general website material for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or limits mandatory consumer rights. Liability for a paid engagement is addressed in its separate agreement.
7. Messages and privacy
Our privacy notice explains handling of visitor and enquiry information. Please do not send confidential datasets or sensitive personal records in an initial email; agree an appropriate transfer channel with us first. Sending an enquiry does not by itself establish a confidentiality or service agreement.
8. Questions and disputes
Contact [email protected] first with a concern. Czech law applies to these website terms, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you, including any consumer protections of your country of habitual residence. Jurisdiction is determined by applicable law.
If you enter into a consumer contract with us and a dispute cannot be resolved directly, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority’s consumer ADR service may be available where the dispute falls within its remit. This does not remove access to the courts.
